Almir Morganti is a legendary name in the world of sport fishing. With over 40 years of experience, he began his journey in the 1980s and, since 1998, has dedicated his life to
fishing tourism in Manaus, becoming a reference in the industry.
His first expedition to the Amazon took place in 1995, marking the beginning of a career that transformed the sport fishing experience in the region. Throughout his journey, Almir has served more than 600 fishing groups, delivering unforgettable adventures on the Amazonian rivers.
For 16 years, Almir worked with one of the largest companies in the sector, overseeing every aspect of the business: from planning and building boats to managing operations. This experience solidified his mastery of every phase involved in sport fishing.
Passionate about fishing with artificial lures, his favorite fish is the peacock bass – a true trophy of the Amazon waters. Recognized for his expertise and dedication, he earned the nickname “Old Man of the River”, affectionately given by fishermen who see him as an iconic figure in the Amazon.
